The Wrightstown Farmers Market returns for its 19th season on Saturday, May 3 from 9 am to 12 pm at the Middletown Grange, 576 Penns Park Rd. in Newtown. Opening Day festivities include a free nasturtium plant giveaway and monster bubbles for the kids!
The market runs every Saturday, rain or shine, through November 22 (closed August 16 for the Middletown Grange Fair). Enjoy free parking, ready-to-eat food, and shaded picnic tables. Please note: Only service dogs are permitted.
Founded in 2006 by the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance, this producer-only market now features over 35 vendors connecting shoppers directly with local growers and makers. It’s more than a market—it’s a community hub supporting local agriculture.
Returning favorites include: Blooming Glen Farm, Apple Ridge Farm, Rolling Hills Farm, Sugar Maple Jerseys, Solebury Orchards, Red Cat Farm, Primordia Mushroom Farm, Holben Valley Farm, Purely Farm, The Coffee Scoop, BowlFace, Helpful Foodie, Jersey Pickles, LUV Superfoods, TheDogBoneGuy, and many more.
New vendors this season include: Allen Bread Co., Chef’s Key Lime Pie, 21 Locks Brewing Co., Little B’s Gluten Free Baked Goods, Divine Earth Gardens, Saporito (Pasta), and Penn Grows—offering exciting new products each week.
“We’re thrilled to bring back many of our popular events," says Market Manager Cheryl Gilmore. "Highlights include ice cream sundae making (July 12), the monarch butterfly tent, apple tasting, the pie contest, and the Howlin’ Halloween Fun Day".
Also returning: “The Vendors Table” on select dates, featuring product samples, plus weekly live music and kids’ activities.
A season highlight is the 2nd Annual Farm to Chef Fundraiser Dinner on September 6 at Hollow House Farms. Tickets ($150) go on sale in June with proceeds supporting the market’s future winter home.
The market continues to accept SNAP benefits, with this season’s match partner to be announced soon.
