Gates open at 6 pm, inviting attendees to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets to enjoy a relaxing evening on the expansive park lawn. Many guests come early to set up themed tables, share meals with friends and family, and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
At 8 pm, the Riverside Symphonia will perform a vibrant program of patriotic favorites, popular classics, and American standards, all leading up to the highly anticipated fireworks spectacular—a highlight of the region’s Independence Day festivities.
New this year are fun contests for attendees, including awards for the Most Outstanding Table Decoration, Most Patriotic Hat, and Most Spectacular Independence Day Attire for both youth and adults. Guests are encouraged to get creative and festive.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the gate, $10 for children ages 7 to 18, and free for children 6 and under. General parking is free, and the event will take place rain or shine.
