RD’s Total Lawn is a family-owned lawncare company founded out of Langhorne eight years ago. They pride themselves on conducting business in a professional manner. They have just been nominated by Bucks Choice awards as “Best Locally Owned Business” as well as “Best Place to Work.” Today we wanted to have a Q and A with the owners:

Question: What is the biggest factor that sets RD’s Total Lawn apart from other lawncare companies in the area? 

Answer: “Well, there are two sides of our business. On the lawn fertilizer and weed control side, we are family owned and operated with the founder operating the day to day business. So, you get the small business feel for lawncare rather than a corporate or franchise company. On the lawn mowing side, we really try to be professional and dependable and provide great communication with our customers,” says Ryan Dittes, owner of RD’s Total Lawn. 

Question: Internally what are some things that set you apart? 

Answer: “We really try to treat our employees right and aim to pay them a fair wage for the tough work they do,” says Lindsay Dittes. “We also offer tuition reimbursement for students that come work with us, paid time off, a retirement account with a match, and paid paternity leave for our employees that are new parents. We know our employees are the most important part of the business, so we like to focus efforts there and feel we have an outstanding culture with our team.”
