Celebrate nature and family at Preserve @ Play on June 28

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is hosting its 4th annual Preserve @ Play family day on Saturday, June 28. This year’s theme, Wee Wonders, celebrates the smallest creatures and the BIG impact they have on our thriving ecosystem.

From 11 am to 3 pm, families will enjoy woodland crafts, sensory exploration, Travelin’ Dogs food truck and live music by Lolly Hopwood. 

From 3 to 4 pm, enjoy a wildlife presentation by Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center at The Captain James Moore Pavilion. 

Families can also enjoy the Preserve’s signature offerings including five miles of hiking trails, children’s discovery areas (R.O.T. Plot and Sycamore Hollows), and a new Storybook Trail. Enjoy 5 miles of hiking trails, children’s play areas and all other areas of the Preserve during this day of celebration for the next generation of explorers.

Just in time for Preserve @ Play, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is offering a summer savings on its family membership level. Family memberships are just $79 (normally $100) from May 15–July 15.

Pre-registration for Preserve @ Play is strongly encouraged. Registration is $10 per group up to 6 guests with free admission for Preserve members and ACCESS Card holders. Guest passes are not usable for Preserve @ Play.
