One of the greatest privileges in America is the right to vote. This year’s Primary Election is on May 20, and only 20% of residents will "elect" our future leaders.
The leadership of Lower Southampton Township is composed of community members just like you. Here are our candidates:
As Supervisor, CYNDIE BOWMAN provides great insight from her extensive experience. Cyndie holds an MBA in education and an undergraduate degree in accounting. She is a former Neshaminy School Board member, the former President of Feasterville Fire Company, and an advocate for the underprivileged.
NICK BORDER is also running for Supervisor. Nick is a veteran of our armed forces, and serves as chair of the Township's Veterans Advisory Committee. He has served on the Zoning Board and Planning Commission. Nick is a 50-year resident, and has managed the Travis Manion Run at REMP for several years now.
DEBBIE DONEKER is our current tax collector. Debbie is a 30-year resident and an advocate for senior citizens. She brings professionalism and honesty to each resident.
ERIN BROSIOUS is a current school board member and seeks a new four year term. She has been in the education sector for 20 years. Her husband is a Philadelphia Police Captain, and Erin volunteers as an advocate for officers' families who are sick and in distress. She is a Neshaminy alumni, and has two children in the district.
TARA KOLARIS is a 48-year resident of Lower Southampton. She is the former PTA president of her children's former school (Assumption-St. Katherine Drexel), volunteers at her local church, and holds a BS from Millersville University.
JUDGE DANIEL BARANOSKI is our current local Magisterial District Judge seeking re-election and has served the community since 2008. He had a distinguished career in law enforcement prior to becoming a judge. He has been a proponent for our Veterans Court, the County Drug Court, worked with Neshaminy School District on truancy and served the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on numerous boards as Chairman.
All of us have a stake in determining who will lead our township for the next four years so be sure to cast your vote!
