After twenty-one years of dedicated service as a volunteer and community outreach coordinator at the Ivins Outreach Center, Mildred “Milli” Kerner will retire on May 30. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely express our appreciation for her hard work and commitment.

Milli began volunteering in 2004 and later joined as a community outreach coordinator. For many years, she has assisted members of our Staying Put program by facilitating social outings, providing transportation to doctor’s visits, and more. Staying Put in Lower Bucks is a membership-based program designed for adults 55 and older. It offers much-needed services that help members stay in their homes longer and remain actively engaged in their local communities.

Milli played a vital role in developing relationships with local businesses and organizations that generously donated food and supplies to Lower Bucks County’s underserved population. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Milli delivered countless bags of groceries, meals, and supplies to the homes of individuals at high risk of developing severe complications from the virus. Members of our community have greatly benefited from her unwavering positivity and helpfulness. Please join us in wishing her a fulfilling and enjoyable retirement.
