MORRISVILLE – On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the Morrisville
community came together for a successful tree planting initiative, adding
ten new trees across Williamson Park and Hamilton Boulevard. The event,
led by the Guardian Angels Foundation, highlighted the power of
collaboration in caring for the environment and strengthening local bonds.
Mayor Gary Wallace opened the gathering with heartfelt gratitude to the
residents, volunteers, and community partners for their dedication to
making Morrisville a greener and healthier place. “This is a great initiative
by the community and a step toward new partnerships with Guardian Angels
Foundation. We look forward to doing more work together for the
betterment of the Morrisville community,” he said.

Adding a spiritual reflection, Rev. VK, co-founder of Guardian Angels
Foundation, reminded the crowd of a deeper call to stewardship. “God
created heaven and earth and said it’s good. Trees are God’s creation, and
it’s our responsibility to take care of them,” he said, inspiring attendees to
view their work as both a civic duty and a sacred trust.
