Let’s get your lawn ready for next year!

Prolific rains, coupled with high heat and humidity this past spring, caused numerous lawn problems. Nutsedge, crabgrass, and lawn fungus ran rampant from wet soil conditions. This was soon followed with high humidity and no rain, causing even more lawn damage.

Applying a cold weather fertilizer this fall promotes deep root development that increases your lawn’s drought resistance and allows for quicker green-up in the spring. Make sure you remove leaves and other debris. Don’t mow and chop them up, as this can cause more harm than good.

Turf thrives within a very small pH window. Soil samples are available and should be done to determine both the pH and micro-nutrient levels needed for healthy turf.

We are wrapping up lawn restorations. This is a time-sensitive process which should be done before October 15. Contact us for more information.

Deer Control: We offer a long-lasting product to suppress the deer from munching on your plants when food is scarce. Applied in late October, this application has a taste and smell the deer do not like and lasts until March. We have had great success with this product. Place your order now, as this needs to be applied with temperatures above 40.

Flea/Tick/Mosquito Suppression: Ticks are still active at this time of year, and mosquitoes can breed until temps drop below 50. Monthly applications help keep pests to a minimum so you can enjoy your outdoor spaces. Sign up now to lock in 2025 pricing for 2026.

Plant Health Care: Winter prep includes deep root feeding to provide extra nutrients for your plants prior to entering dormancy. Also, we offer anti-desiccant spray to protect your evergreen plants from drying out from the cold winter winds.
