Empowered with paint brushes, 29 Bucks County youth are painting hope. Together they have created and signed one collaborative painting of Kids Castle in Doylestown to be put on silent auction to raise funds for St Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital.
Each of the aspiring young artists will also have their own individual paintings on display for their art show “Painting Hope” which runs June 4 – 30 at Countryside Gallery, 2 South State Street in historic Newtown. Their paintings feature images about their childhood of things that make them happy.
While visiting the exhibit, guests are welcome to play the Eye Spy Art game. There will also be notecards of each of the student’s paintings on sale. 100% of the notecard sales and silent auction of the Kids Castle painting will be donated to St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital.
Bids on the painting of Kids Castle can be made in person at the gallery or via email at youthartsilentauctionbids@aol.com now through June 30. The highest bidder will be notified the first week of July. Admission to "Painting Hope" is free and smiles are guaranteed.
