PAINTING HOPE: Youth Art Show for St Jude Empowered with paint brushes, 29 Bucks County youth are painting hope. Together they have created and signed one collaborative painting of Kids Castle in Doylestown to be put on silent auction to raise funds for St Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital. Each of the aspiring young artists will also have their own individual paintings on display for their art show “Painting Hope” which runs June 4th – 30th at Countryside Gallery, 2 South State Street in historic Newtown. Daily hours are: Monday 11:00am - 4:00pm Tuesday 10:00am - 6:00pm Wednesday 10:00am - 6:00pm Thursday 10:00am - 7:00pm Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm Saturday 10:00am - 7:00pm Sunday 11:00am - 4:00pm Their paintings feature images about their childhood of things that make them happy. While visiting the exhibit, guests are welcome to play the Eye Spy Art game. There will also be notecards of each of the student’s paintings on sale. 100% of the notecard sales and silent auction of the Kids Castle painting will be donated to St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital.
